The NRC with the help of host clubs runs the LDS (Long Distance Sculling) series
every autumn. Originally the series ran over six Saturdays, but in 2012 was down
to four days (one for juniors only and three for all ages).
Host clubs in 2012 were Cambois RC, Berwick ARC, Tyne RC & Tyne United RC and Tees
RC. On each day as well as the NRC LDS event, the host club (or one of them) ran
a Small Boats Head.

2012 results and archive documents (all pdf unless stated)
Wansbeck LDS (6 Oct): Junior only. Note there were two divisions in the LDS event
and no SBH. Went very well with excellent weather. Archive documents:
* Other SBH documents are on the TU SBH page of the Tyne United RC web site.
Tees LDS & SBH (3 Nov): A cold start, but it was sunny most of the day and there
was little wind, so an excellent day’s racing. That’s not to say everybody avoided
either the banks or each other! LDS draw and times and some other docs are here,
but all race documents for both the LDS and SBH are on the Tees SBH page of the
Tees RC web site:
Results from this and previous years are on the Results page.
